This is La Garganta del Diablo (the Devil's throat) from the Argentine side of the falls at sunrise. Hum the theme to the movie 'The Mission' for added effect...

A one second exposure with a 3 stop GND used to balance the sunrise light with the falls.

Hello Michael,

This is quite a spectacular shot!
The semi-circle of tumbling silk really draws the eyes in!
Thankfully, there is a chance to escape and enjoy the misty spray and the warm evening sunset.

The blurred water has good contrast and detail. Great moment of capture with the sun coming up. I can almost feel the warmth from its rays. Great job as usual.

Bonsoir,
belle photo de cette chute superbe doublée d' un magnifique coucher de soleil.
Belle double prise qui mérite beaucoups plus de point que ce que vous avez, ou est le problème, votre gallerie regorge de jolies photos mais les points n' ont pas l' air de suivre.J' apprécie beaucoups de photos de cette gallerie et ne vous découragez surtout pas.

Wonderful... this is a very diffrent view from this famous waterfal. I love the softnes of the water and movement on it. The sunrise color is ofcourse sublime!
What is " a 3 stop GND"?
