Photographer’s Note

Another view of San Ignacio ruins, as my other previous posts. It's also part of my travelogue.

In this photo I tried to show the writings on this rock and also a view of the place. I can't understand exactly what may be written there, but it doesn't sound original... Some human names may be seen in it, indicating that some visitors decided to put themselves into eternity... Bad thing to do, isn't it?

I wrote longer notes about this ruins in the first post of this serie.

Engraçado aqui no Brasil, fora as fortalezas e alguns prédios públicos do período colonial, não me lembro de nenhuma ruinda ou áreas similares a essa. Pelas outras fotos do pórtico parecem ser bem mais antigas, algo pré-colonização...
Bonito local e foto, gostei das áreas sombreadas. concordo sobre esse pessoal que arruína as ruínas escrevendo ou estrango os monumentos históricos.

Oi Guto,
Aqui no Piauí também temos algumas preciosidades milenares no Parque das Sete Cidades e Serra da Capivara, onde os visitantes não tem plena consciência da importância dessas relíquias e escrevem nomes, desenham corações, etc. Graças a Deus, agora há vigias no parque e uma cerrada fiscalização na Serra da Capivara, onde o homem americano morou há mais de 40 mil anos atrás.
Belíssima foto dessas ruínas.

i like the POV in this image. the details in the stone in the Fg is great. It's a pitty is writen. I definetly vote for uncivilized humans.
The view is very nice as well, that place is amazing and you showed it very well
