What a '' WONDERFUL '' little old truck - full of character & charm...
Without a care in the World there it was parked amongst the Mercedes & other prestigious vehicles...in a lovely central park.
This image of the little old truck was taken in '' MENDOZA ARGENTINA ''

Hi Dawn, very good picture of this interesting car that seems impossible to work, very well captured in this interesting image, with good sharpness, light and color. Very good and interesting job well done, congratulations my friend. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work.
Good evening and happy start to the week.
Warm greetings from southern Spain.

Indeed a charming old truck having many stories to tell if it could write or speak. And still useful as I can see. I like the tight framing showing it's details with sharpness.

Almost not to believe that these car yet can become use.
I think an old France car (2HP)
Sharpness and clarity are nice.
Composition and presentation are pleasant.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,

You are right about this truck full of character and charm. The colors and some faded paint is enough to make head turns. The glassless windows are pretty appealing as well. Great shot with beautiful details.
Thanks and kind regards.

Nicely spotted :) This is a very cool little truck, and I would imagine could it speak, it would have some stories to tell. You chose a perfect point of view to show it off in all its glory, and its fading paintwork is still quite striking. Nicely seen, especially in among all the mercedes!
All the best

Oh, poor Citroen 2CV, what have they done to you?
Whoops - Hi Dawn,
Excuse my manners, I am a little freakish about cars. When I was a kid, one of my dream cars was a Citroen 2CV. You have captured this little gem very well. Thanks for sharing, I wish I could give 3 points!

Not your rental car Dawn?
a classic - well spotted and taken.

old, rusty and abandoned, but still pretty and having its own charm.Just like you wrote-Wonderful!
I like these strong, vivid colors, which emphasizes more its charm.Perspective and POV are also excellently chosen.

Bonjour, chère Dawn,
Cette camionnette 2CV a connu des jours meilleurs. C'est amusant de la voir ici vivre encore et rendre service à son utilisateur.
Une image très réussie.

This is an old (1960th+) Citroen 2CV, pronounces "De-Shvo" - meaning it has 2HP alltogether. But more on the positive note - those 2CV's had a unique suspension system that you would not feel any bump on any road, even on sand and trails.
An old lady in orange, deserves the gesture given.

An old Citroën C2 (in the Nederlands we called
it "Het lelijke Eendje" - the ugly Duck-)
Composition is good, because you wanted only
the car on the picture..good choice.

such an eye catching and interesting vehicle, its style, colours and textures look fascinating and it's a wonder how it made it there. Your framing is breathtaking and you have created a superb perspective too. Clarity and light management are excellent, you have achieved marvellous illumination in the shade. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Yeah, that is a battered truck or van, which has a lot of character. The look is not perfect but I think, it must run and run and run. Its orange colour hue really sticks out of your shots setting an highlight. Excellent POV and light management. Well done

Vieux mais plein de charme, c'est une pièce de collection...intéressant a voir, pas de fenêtres, l'avant doit être aussi spectaculaire que l'arrière, très belle présentation, un pays qui me fait rêver

Many thanks for this superb photo. Can not believe that this vehicle is still mobile. I've seen many curiosities during my traveling, but this too much.
Excellent detail photo in nice light, I like the tight crop which allows the viewer full concentration on the framed subject.
I wish you a very nice week.

You have the skill of turning old decrepit objects into artistic masterpieces ! I seem to recognize that van as an old Citroën ! Incredible how they keep those things on the road, and how they mend them again and again.
No retirement for the poor old vehicles :-)
But it makes an excellent photo.
Thanks for sharing.

now thats a truck!
Imagine taking this guy to work everyday!
its a head turner for sure, but perhaps in a different way than a mercedes :)
if only this truck could tell stories, i'm betting it has some good ones.
awesome subject for posting on TE.
really enjoyed it

Dawn, I recently did a tour of France and wanted very much to get a shot of a Citroen 2CV (typical French car) in a typically French setting. In two weeks travel I only saw one that I was unable to photograph. Now I see that you have solved that problem - they are all now in South America!!!! Great Shot.

Dawn, this is an amazing picture, I used to have one of those in silver color and they are tough enough and always going no matter what!!such a great souvenir from the past!!!
