I was happily clicking away with my camera around this derelict old building when I spotted a family had set up camp out the back of it - so I very quietly tip toed away.
This is number 19 in my collection of old doors.

Hi Dawn - doors for you today - stairs for me. You do have to watch out for unexpected residents in old ruins - I've had to retreat a few times. Great doors and great colour in the walls.

A fine photographic study in tones and textures. You have framed the shot well using the angle in the wall as a focal point. Superb rendering of the colours and the detail.

Nice capture of those old doors with the vegetation starting to invade. I like texture of the old wood. The framing is well done with good light and well renderes colors.

Fine textures and colours in this, and I would guess from looking at it that before this building was in ruin, it would have been home to a wealthier type of person. The double doors always give off a sense of wealth to me for some reason.
Amazing how nature is claiming it back for herself though, but by but, and brick by brick, these places slowly crumble back into the earth. Great capture of this in progress.

I like the rustic look of this little nook. The doors and texture on the wall is well registered with growth in this little yard.
Great find and thanks for sharing.

Hi Dawn - glad you were able to get the shot before making your quiet retreat! A very attractive pair of old doors to perfectly fit your theme here. Nicely weather worn, and we can see nature starting to reclaim the place as well. Thanks!

un angolo molto particolare, da una sensazione di abbandono e di tristezza molto forte.
Belli i toni di colore e la luce diffusa.

Excellent detail photo of old doors. I like the simple colors and nice light. The tight crip works very well here. Have a beautiful easter weekend.

I like how you have included both doors in the composition giving it great interest, depth and perspective. The textures and the floor of this ruined house are fascinating. It's interesting that it is not abandoned any more but in this state makes part of a family's home environment. You've managed light and colours superbly, the image has a strong melancholic mood. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely Easter!

Your series on "doors" had gained yet another old shuttered corner, well taken.
The red bricks broken and fallen, along with the decayed plaster and wooden okd doors, convey the ambiance perfectly.
Old place once had people living in.
