Photographer's Note

Travelling around the vast countryside in Argentina one comes across the cutest sights of old houses / chapels etc; etc; on this occasion we saw this small Chapel the soft pale blue render against the bright blue sky looked so pretty - the wind was quite strong & this was the best POV for me to take the photo - the Chapel itself was not very big very narrow depth & from the back of the building it was not a very nice image.

Hello Dawn - A simple white chapel with a perfect blue sky. Quite a 'static' image save for the wonderful movement created by the wind blown trees. Lovely colour combination in this and the shot portrays an atmosphere of isolated village life. Have a fine day. Rosemary

Bonjour Dawn,

Il semble y avoir beaucoup de vent au moment de la photo.Les arbres ont presque à l'horizontale et donnent de la vie et du mouvement à l'ensemble. La petite chapelle est très belle.

We see wonderful the wind in the trees in foreground.
Also the facade of the chapel makes these picture real nice.
What a wonderful composition with the blue sky above the chapel.
I can here absolutely enjoy of these nice picture.
You play excellent with light and shadows.

This has a very 'Greek' feel, with the predominance of blue and white, however, those f/g trees, moving so rythmically with the breeze, are definitely not olive trees.
You have given us a lovely clarity, and a sense of movement.

Hello Down,
i think that Argentina and Greece have the sae dominating colours,the blue and the white.
Beautiful presentation of this little chapel with the trees to decorate perfect the whole image.
I like the contrast of the colours,the excellent and brilliant light, that enhance the vivid colours of the image.

white against blue is always a sure-fire combination, and your shot is beautiful, I'd say very much Greek style:))
Love the long branches of the trees leaning in the wind, it must have been really strong that day!

It is a well-chosen framing, in a slight low-angle shot that works very well graphically, and gives a nice perspective to the elegant architecture of this small church. The light and the shades have a beautiful effect on the elements, and the colors are magnificent.

The trees are helping to frame the chapel. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the chapel. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

protestant churches are frequently poor in terms of architecture, anyway this one has beautiful shapes and its colors created a nice contrast against the blue sky, even the small trees are very beautiful. TFS.
