I am returning after a long long pause - and guess what? I am continuing my everlasting trip to South America I did between 2005-2006.
The other day I was visiting the 7-colored mountain ridge (Cerro de los Siete Colores),south of Salta Argentina near the small town of Purmamarca. While walking in the little town and appreciating the mountain's color, a girl wearing a pink shirt passed us by. I couldn't miss the fitting of the colors and snapped the shot.

Hi Chen, glad to see your work from South America. Though a very simple presentation, we can see the different layers of the composition of the mountain eroded by the elements and time.

Indeed a long time ago, hope you're doing fine.
Looking forward to see more of your south-america trip, you must have enough to share.
This one has nice colour contrast in different layers, gives a a nice dynamic effect to it...very nice.
Have a nice weekend, Henk

the clear natural coloring with the blistering light of the sun gives a fair impression of this place with a well chosen POV of the the converging street leading the lady to the village, a very light edition.
welcome back !

The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The point of view from bottom to the top is giving depth to the photo. The intensity of the light brings out the colors under a nice blue sky. Have a nice day.
