Photographer’s Note
Cordoba is the second biggest town in Argentina, it is located near of the central area of the country. At east we find a huge plain, an almost endless Pampa, at the west side we can see 2 big mountain ranges (Las Sierras de Cordoba). Cordoba itself is full of beautiful churches and some colonial houses. There is an old university located in a block called "Manzana jesuitica" cause the churches and schools were ruled by them. This is the church of Jesuits, it is very humble outside but very rich inside, it was this way to show how Cristians should be (humble physical appearance and rich soul). That tree at side is a Palo borracho (Brazilians call it Paineira), there is another photo of this same tree in my page (the big vein of Brazil). It lost its leaves in the winter and left its fruits be open and the cotton inside them fly away taking the seeds, in Brazil humble people used its cotton to make pillows. Visiting this town is to know an important face of Argentinian soul and its history.
