Photographer’s Note

This is the entrance of a Jesuit's farm in Jesus Maria, 50 km at north of Córdoba city, in the heart of Argentina. This farm was created in 1618. There were many others around in this region, they had a huge amount of lands and indians were used like workers, it wasn't a slavery but they weren't free to take their own decisions. Nowadays we can find the main buildings of this farms. This photo shows the entrance of Jesús Maria, we can see the chapell at left. There is a big and very nice museum inside this place. Landscape around is very nice too, it made me rememeber Portuguese and Spanish fields.. Nowadays there is a city at side of the farm (Jesus Maria). If you intend to visit Cordoba, don't miss this place and others farms around it. It is a valious piece of Argentinian history.
