Photographer’s Note
This is the City Circle Tram. This is a free service in Melbourne. It covers quite a bit of the City area with a commentary going on through out the journey. You can get on and get off at any point. The frequency is about 20 minutes. Some of the trams are really old built between 1936 and 1956. They are a great way to get to know the city better and get used to moving around in Melbourne. I'd definitely recommend it for first time travellers to Melbourne.

I like trams a lot, and I think you have good shot here, Dinyar. You captured it from a good diagonal angle, and it makes an interesting contrast against the modernist downtown architecture that it is surrounded by. Good notes, I'll make a mental note of them for the point when my dream of traveling to Australia will come true :-) Well done.

it's free?? unbelievable.. I should move there right away. it would be nice if it was like that in all the cities. No more cars, what a relief...

A great shot of a wonderful old tram. I like the fact that this tram is free. Good colours and detail. Well captured, Dinyar.

Oh your back Dinyar - I was wondering what keept you busy, and now I got the explanation - Like to watch your fine photo from australia.
This kind of transportaion was common in Denmark 50 years ago - too bad it was dropped - seams to be a nice way of traveling. Very fine spotted and captured.

Lovely picture, Dinyar. Brimfull of interesting details. The old tram is captured nicely with the reflections in the window and the text on the roof as nice touch. I have the impression that the pic is a bit leaning to the right. But that doesn't make your crisp pic less enjoyable. Well seen & done, Dinyar.
