Photographer’s Note
After spending an afternoon walking in the Silverhope Bush reserve south of Hunterville on State highway 3 I noticed some flowers growing that had to be planted and not grown wild.
I followed a very old track and came across what used to be someones place. All that was left was a few signs of human habitation. At least 30 years ago by my guess. The trees were growing through the remains, there was a family living here at some stage. Signs of a garden, very over grown now, were present. Grape vines now very large and over grown. Old agricultural implements with all manner of plants growing through them. It felt like a happy place once. Now deserted except for nosey people like me.
I hope you enjoy.
I took the photo in the last of the afternoon sun. I liked the tall straight trees and the light and shadows.

Good find Sue, tucked away in the bush. Makes you wonder who lived there, and why they left. Quite hard conditions I imagine.
And now the flowers grow wild - wonderful. I'd definitely say more than 30 years from what I can see.
Photo- good lighting catching the end of the day's sunshine. Well captured, and TFS.
