Really beautiful ! you are so right, the clouds engulfing the mountains make the shot. But also the light through the clouds, especially the light on the mountain edge, add a lot to it.
The only thing a little bizarre is the curve in the water line going up on th eleft side. I am sure that more expert photographs would explain this phenomena. Has to do with the lens used I believe.
Nevertheless it's a great shot.
