Yesterday a stiff wind was blowing into Big Manly Beach on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula about 50kms north of Auckland City. Even though mid-Winter it never really gets too cold here in Auckland, and we were surprised to see so many kite-surfers - and the odd wind-surfer - making the most of the excellent conditions. I hd my camera with me so rattled off close to a hundred shots, with varying degrees of success.

I thought Manly Beach was in Australia, but what do I know!
I love the sense of movement that you have captured so well. The guy in the f/g gives us the details, whilst those beyond give information about the eventual result.
Have a great day,
Have been chatting to a few New Zealanders at the rugby 7's in Glasgow. What a trip they had made to support the All Blacks!
