Photographer’s Note

Touring the Australian Outback requires some minor adaptations to your dressing habits. Besides clear clothes to feel less the heat and the usual sun glasses, a hat is a welcome protection against the sun, and if you fear the many nasty insects flying around, a nest like the one you see on this photo will be very useful.
I leave up to ladies to decide whether it improves their look or not ;))

Il y a de l'out of Australia dans le modèle qui t'a inspiré, du glamour dans la réalisation (ça c'est parlé moderne) et du catalogue des "redoutables trois Helvètes" dans l'information pour les voyageurs.

The colours are little green because of the protection of the face, but I find these picture well very nice, the smile of the lady is fantastic.

Le portrait est beau Jean Yves, les couleurs ont une petite tendance à tirer sur le vert mais cette teinte est celle du fond de l'image.

Hi Jean-Yves. Interesting fashion detail with the mosquito-repellant hat; good DOF to isolate the lady from the background landscape. The green cast is a bit problematic and should be corrected like in the WS proposed by Chris.

Ok pour sa tête mais le reste lui, il est découvert. Pas très prudent... ;-)
Cette photo me rappel quand je travaillais dans le grand Nord et que les enfants portaient ce genre de filet pour jouer dehors. Vive la nature, au diable les insectes.
Bonne image avec une belle expression sur le sujet. Bon arrière-plane qui encadre bien le sujet.

there seems to be a green tone throughout the shot. did you add that? whatever the origin it certainly gives this shot an unusual look. nice framing of the person and inclusion of the background elements. good work.

I may try a ws later to correct the green color cast. (Easily fixed) Apart from that, a superb image, with excellent sharpness, & good dof. Also a good daily life shot, although I've never been to Uluru. But I do know about the bush flies in Western Qld that crawl in your eyes, ears, & up your nose! Tres bon!

The ladies may improve the "design" of the hats, Jean-Yves, but that one is certainly efficient with the insects!...
Very well observed and taken, I also like the background out of focus and the ladie's expression.
