Northern end of the Harbour Bridge is an excellent place to enjoy blue hour views of the Sydney Harbour. And a local guide helps a lot when you are tired after a busy day, and perhaps not at your best on selecting angles.

Hello Kari, very nice evening shot. Especially with that dark to light with the Sydney opera house in the dark and the bridge with those lights.
Great photo, thanks for sharing,

Hi Kari - The panoramic view works for me. The sweeping frame is bracketed by two Sydney icons between which we see the CBD with lights blazing. Interesting to see the sun dipping in the west and its rays barely reaching the south... I like the gradual change of sky light and colour.
Well managed and yes, you had a good and helpful guide!

A classic Sydney view, but at the same time you photo is quite original by the panoramic format and the perfect blue hour and the brighter sky on the right hand side A really fine photo-job! Tfs and have a nice evening!

I like the wide angled panoramic format and inclusion of the Sydney Harbour Bridge at right and the iconic Opera house at left, nicely bookending this superb nocturnal shot. The city sandwiched between the 2 looks impressive against the blue hour sky. Good sharpness and nice reflections at right. Tfs!

That wide angle lens came in handy for this one. And what a beauty it is too. I love the deep indigo blue colours and of course the thing that makes it different for me - and anyone else shooting the Bridge in future - is that you have the unique New Years' Eve motif on it. Excellent exposition, light control and saturation.

I wanted to see the large version, but it didn't work for me the the right click. Anyway. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to be there in this beautiful blue hour. the deep indigo blue sky, the warm tone of the sunset and the city light twinkling. You have it all from the coat hanger (bridge) to the famous opera house....Just wonderful view and great quality shot.

Great long exposure cityscape. The lights on the bridge are not blown but have great starbursts. Well coomposed. Excellent.
