Photographer's Note

The boot is the base of a statue in the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne. It was built between 1928 and 1934 to commemorate the 114 000 men and women who served in the Great War (1914-18).

The real flowers were spread through Flanders' Fields in the Somme area of France.
