Photographer’s Note
This is a shot of York Bay taken while I was waiting for a bus to take me back to Wellington. I enjoy the contrast here between the jagged beach in the foreground and the smooth sea. This flat calm was then spoiled by us playing ducks and drakes until our bus turned up.
Post processing: Slightly cropped at the top so this pic complies a little more with the rule of thirds. Tweaked brightness, contrast and gamma controls. Resized and minimally JPEGed.
