[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in a village in the Solomon Islands. The village had set up a market to sell wood crafts and baskets. These girls were sitting in the market area. At first they were a little shy to be photographed, this is the first photo I took of them. But with a digital camera they enjoyed seeing the results and I was able to take a few more shots (unfortunately they are all too dark).

I cropped this image to focus on the girls and I tried to lighten/brighten the second girl who is sitting in the shade.

Any comments on how I can improve are most welcome.

It's difficult in moments like that to get the right light. Makes you wish the sun was on demand. I'll agree that this is quite dark on the right side, but with the little bit of sun on the girl on the left, it looks great. Thanks

You're right, the sun was not willing to help you, but the result is not that bad. I've posted you a workshop
