Photographer's Note

Pentax K20D
Exp: 1/1000 sec
F-stop: f/8
ISO: 100
Focal length: 10mm

I saw this 'upside down' rainbow in an otherwise drab sky. It appeared, just as the afternoon sun broke through the hole it had burnt in the clouds, as a brush stroke across the sky.

The photo itself wasn't very technical in its capture and the only playing around I did was to wash out the colour surrounding the hole in the clouds to try and exaggerate the appearance of the rainbow (even though there was no rain!).

Criticisms please?...
