Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken in the late afternoon. I cropped this image from the original to place the focus on the child. She is sitting in a canoe waiting to sell goods to the boat we were staying on in the Solomon Islands. Anytime our boat would anchor near a village, locals would paddle their dugout canoes to sell us food and other goods.
