Photographer’s Note

I is amazing that the ocean can lay down this flat. On the other hand the Bilikiki did some blue water crossings and my body was lifting off my bunk and that was below the water line, sorry no photo of that.
I love my 16-35mm F2.8 L USM lens. It almost never came off my camera during this trip.

Beautiful picture, Rich! Good colors and low POV. Even so, the picture would have been even better if you could spot another object or subject, to fill in the little gap...

Agree with pilpel. Awesome picture, but nothing to guide the eye. The exposure is wonderful though, as is the framing, and we cant allways have everything eh

I prefer to say "lazy calm", great sky and perfect clouds. I like the contrast between the sea and the sky.
