| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A mummified Papuan warrior, after beheading he is smoked for days dressed with clay and ceremonially painted with vegetal pigments and ashes, decorated with cowrie shells and the actual head which is the only part kept, is placed on a body sculpted from Casuarina ironwood.
This particular specimen is in display at the Honolulu Academy of Arts Museum. |

Hi Radu,
This is not a classic one and I like it. I just came back from the Museum of Quaie Branly in Paris. This Museum is unique and dedicated to "art premiers" which is about our picture in a way.
Nice colors and god framing. TFS. Cheers.
