TE meeting - Muriwai Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello to my TE friends,
I had finally met up a TE member who newly migrated to NZ - Jim(jimkilgillon)!
and finally arrived this north western coast of Muriwai in Auckland! here you can see the gannet colony on top of the rock now in spring, will be fully crowded in the coming months of summer! there you see the observation platform that for people enjoying the colony from the top!
Maori bay is on the distance view and a paraglider is having freedom in the air!
Hope you can enjoy the view same with me and Jim!

Hi Tony,
Nice composition.
The light on the rocks is awesome while these gannets create some graphism. I would love to see them closer as they are superb birds, so elegant.

Hello Ho, the thumbnail doesn't do justice to this shot, it is beautiful.
A lovely composition, with the curved bays meeting the sea.
It is good to see the gannet colony;we have them in England and they are wonderful to watch.

Hello Tony,

You captured a lot of beauty together and I'm afraid to forget one of them. Sharp cliff and its naturally changed textures are eye catching with splendid blue colored ocean and green textures on the ridges. Already in 3d with perfect clarity, sharpness and natural colors as same unique every time. Congratulations.

What is this crowd on the top of the cliff? Birds? Really exciting place to see so many birds with this fine view. I wish I can see the close up of these birds. Very lovely scene.

I see you could not resist posting after you said you had too many shots from this place. I can see why you have with the beautiful lighting and natural colours coming from this. The cliffs show superb detail as does the far away distance. It was a great day and late afternoon for taking photographs. Where to next then?

Another lovely coastal shot!
Love the color balance between the pastel sky and the turquoise sea.
The cliffs are seen in great textures and details as they are graced by the large gathering on gannets and the lush green shrubs that contrast so nicely with the sea and sky.
