Hello to my TE friends,
Sharing with you the scenery of Whatipu which is on the southern tip of Waitakere, westcoast of Auckland! It will takes almost an hour to arrive this place from the city on most part on gravel road! but it's worth the beautiful scenery to pay for a visit!

A very good composition with some pleasing graphical elements to it. Excellent point of view making good use of the curving beach line which draws the eyes round to the massive rocks. Superb colours and sharpness. Always very pleasing to see one of your compositions.

I think the main feature here is the sense of wide space, which is given by those small figures far away. There is a different light than in the other pictures from you, yet it is as pleasurable as those ones.

Another great coastal shot, looks like a massive place to visit with the rocks just as huge. Them people look like ants, natural colours compliment the scene well.

Hello Tony,

Beautiful scenery, as seems to be the norm for New Zealand!
I was just absorbing the beautiful colours and well managed composition, when I noticed the people on the beach. My whole perception of your shot alterred! I suddenly reassessed it onto an enormous scale! Those people do explain the scale and are a very important feature.

Hi Tony.
A very pleasing composition that is so suggestive of space and has great depth. I like the viewpoint over the sparse grasses in the sand, looking towards those very sharply defined formations. Good detail in the sky, and lovely colour in the water. I like the light in this one too, your exposure being just right at slightly underdone (which I always appreciate) for the shadows. Really good.

Hello Tony,

You show us a nice curve of the sea, certainly with the white foam on the end of the waves.
We get a very good depth view between the big rocks in background.
Also the foreground with the a few dune grass carefor a nice composition.

Hi Tony,
Superb view! It's interesting that the colour of sand doesn't bother me, because it's not the most attractive one. I guess it combines well with the rest of the landscape, enhancing a certain wild mood.
The image seems a bit tilted, but I would be surprised if that is caused by the curve of the shoreline and/or the clouds.

Beautiful clear colors to this lonely stretch of beach that is wonderfullly framed by the lush green hills and gray sand beach.
Lovely blue sky to contrast so nicely with the green shrubs growing out of the craks in the rock.

the view of the rocks and sea, two eternal elements, is almost therapeutic and as a bonus we have excellent lights. I suppose psychiaters are very poor men in this region.
