Photographer’s Note
At the end of Kaikoura Peninsula is situated a seal colony. At low Tide you can walk to the small cliffs. There are sunning oneself The New Zealand Fur Seals.
The Seals are very trusting and had no fear.
At the background the Picture looks a little bit fuzzy but there was a spindrift over the water.
The Mountains are called Kaikoura Ranges. The Kaikoura Range straight from (and dominates) the coast to the north of the town, and reaches its highest point with the 2610-metre Mount Manakau.

Hello Marcel,
Excellent, I really like the dimmed out overall feel of the shot. The vignette looks great.

Hi Marcel,
Not the kind of landscape I'd expect in New Zealand. Then again, I've never been to New Zealand, so what am I expecting?
I do like the fuzzyness. It's like the wind catching the waves and playing with it. It's good to see the sharpness in the drawings in the clouds and in some of the mountain parts in the distance. I like the dark atmosphere.
Greetings,
Dennis
