Photographer’s Note
Another posting from Lake Rotoiti, in Nelson Lakes National Park on New Zealand's South Island. I had slept overnight in the camping ground adjacent to the lake in my hired campervan: when I awoke on this morning, the temperature INSIDE the van was -3C!
Cropped & resized from a RAW image, with post processing in PS CS3 and Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0

Hi Jeff,
I like this shot. I would also love to take a picture of the campervan in this background in a farther view.
Thanks for sharing.

Very beautiful photo; I like the composition with the grassy pier "showing" the valley; it makes a very good depth of field.
Landscapes are always so beautiful and you wake up in a van in the middle of nowhere :) ...
Thanks for sharing Jeff !

Hi Jeff,
Amazing mixture of winter landscape, with some remaining snow, great reflections and some vegetation under a very good light.
The whole is beautiful.

Hi Jeff,
The fact that you endured the -3 degrees temperature....inside the campavan, means you deserved this amazingly beautiful scenery....absolutely astounding, amnd your skills do justice to the view. The greenery in the foreground adds ome nice contrast to all the blues. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Hello Jeff,
Good on you, this is a beautiful sight, and one which I was not able to see while I was in New Zealand. The frosty landscape is very special, really helps me appreciate the told temperatures that you experienced. I would probably say that I like the first posted version of this photo the most, because I enjoyed the FG composition more, but hey, this is pretty incredible also. I bet the air here was clear and a pleasure to breathe, sometimes we forget what air should smell like when living in the cities. Beautiful work.

Hello Jeff,
-3C is a nice temperature to wake up in the morning when in the outdoors. This lake is beautiful and the surroundings very impressive. I like the cropping just above the left summit to give this interesting panoramic view. Nice work Jeff :-)

Une carte postale, une visibilité limpide, du bleu, du vert et un excellent cadrage, ça fait rêver
