Hi Tony,
as I see you love sunrises/sunsets just as much as I do and as it seems you have a lot of wonderful sunrises in New Zealand. This one is great because it doesn`t only show the great sun but it also has a lot of life with the little boats in the foreground and the magnificient landscape makes it perfect. Very well composed picture. Very well done my friend, TFS.

Hello Tony,
Beautiful varying shades of gold are seen coming over the distant mountains as they are wonderfully complimented by the glimmering silver blue sea. The sail boats adds a lovely bit of scale to this fine composition.

A first rate panoramic capture of New Zealand. Indeed, it is so much better to provide the expansive horizontal view here. The subdued light, with the sun painting pastoral colors in the sky makes this a memorable shot.

A well balanced composition: I like the fact that the sky is not too bright and the sea is not too dark, so that both are "readable". I wish I could do a sunset like that!
Very good cropping: it gives the sense of vastness.
Of course we do like it!

Tony, I had to look at this a bit before I realized how large an are was in this frame, the sailboat is of undeterminate size but once seeing it I find the shot compelling.
