An early morning sunrise at Kaikoura, on New Zealand's South Island east coast, north of Christchurch: always a photographer's paradise.

Beautiful New Zealand

Well composed and colored. Push a little in the post the colors.

Hi Jeff,
A photographer paradise indeed. I like your composition showing those rocks at 2/3. Well done.

Hi Jeff,
You show us great shots from NZ and i am trying to organize a trip myself next year. So looking with great interest to certain locations and good pictures...like yours. A wonderful landscape, not bathing in sunlight, but with full detail in an excellent composition...perfect, i like it.
Regards, Henk

Hi Jeff,
Very very rugged terrain here. Good perspective thought, Jeff, and I like the deep rich colors. Well seen and TFS. GERald

Hello John,

It look like the mountains in the background get a lot of snow, is that permanent snow and glaciers? The view is magnificent with the snowy peaks creating a dramatic background. The rock formations on the shore are very interesting, giving the area a rugged landscape. Good photo John. Thanks :-)

Roberto

Jeff,
I came across some running a theme of "underappreciated photos" the other day. This one would certainly be a candidate, because that a fantastic scene which I think you've realised to perfection.
Regards
Colin
