It reminds me of a lot of nice souvenirs because I went in Auckland twice for working and this is the only place I know in NZ...
The ND filter was a very good idea here to keep the details in the sky.

A calmful view out from Auckland towards the Rangitoto ( I remembered I went out there to catch some Red snapper) I like the light and comp in this image, could be some more detail in the darker areas but thats minor.

Hello Tony. I like this dreamy composition with a lot of softness in the image and yet so vivid in sharpness. The empty bench must have hit the sweet spot here on that lush green pasture. Is the volcano live?
I can imagine what a beautiful sight it must be sitting on that inviting bench gazing across the water in the its direction!

I love the light you have achieved! It is sweeping over the hill in the f/g and giving it a lovely rounded shape!
The tree on the right is useful as a border and to make lovely shadows for interesting contrast!

Hello Tony,

I trust you had an enjoyable Easter break. Rangitoto Island is an amazing sight, considering it is geologically very young (only 600-800 years old!). When viewed from almost any part of the city, its dominant profile looms over the harbour. Next time I visit Auckland, I would like to stay longer and visit Rangitoto. Again, I really like the placement of the park bench in your photo as it shows this vista is regularly enjoyed by people. Thanks very much.

I love the light in this shot. I particularly like the way it comes in from the side. I like the tree being dark and its shadows - it makes the green of the grass even more notable. Hello Tony,
Very well taken. No problem with the lighting here. The shadow area which has some visible detail is contrasting realistically to the well lighted terrace, sea & sky behind. Nice composition with the diagonal from the tree top to bottom left. And within the diagonal a lovely semi circle or curve terrace with soft green grass. The layered features & contrasting light of this landscape provide good sense of depth. Well done ... especially with the light management. Terima kasih. Latiff.

PS: I was looking at air fares to New Zealand. They tend to be more expensive!

what a place to put a bench. I guess there is a road notfar away to bring people to this bench, but it looks like a perfect lonely spot made foer lone walkers to enjoy the view.

I believe that today we offer the opposite side of a photo that was last above.

But for that matter, is a marvelous landscape filled with splendor, like all of your beautiful islands. While appreciating very dark areas, the depth of field, stands out in the composition. The dealer gives a feeling of wanting to be sitting there, appreciating the landscape.
