Photographer’s Note

This nice estate is located in about 10 minutes drive from Queenstown city centre. It belongs to lady artist, who build all those houses with materials and parts of old churches which she collected all around South Island. Estate looks great outside and for small fee you can arrange a tour inside. Interiors are just perfect as well.

Superb house, I wish I could buy something like this, considering the environment it must offer an outstanding quality of life. I like your photo as well, luminous, showing a bit of surroundings and a sky attractively populated by nice clouds.

Sorry for not visiting all of your photos in recent weeks, I will have to backtrack over the weekend to look at any that I might have missed. This is a great scene to look at during my lunchbreak at uni! I really enjoyed revisiting the Queenstown region. I missed this particular dwelling but you provide the next best thing – an accurate and attractive view of this wonderful structure. The setting is perfect and it looks like you were able to see some fine Queenstown weather while you were there! The colours are particularly rich and vivid, very striking indeed. A beautiful shot of this house, superbly composed to place the mountain behind it. The exposure is excellent and the detail is very sharp. I visited Queenstown about 4 years ago in January, and I know what a splendid place it is; a photographer's dream.
