Picture taken from the summmit of the Mount Ngauruhoe (2291M) during the tongariro crossing ( well-known trek of one day in NZ- near of 18 km).
You can see on the background the Lake Taupo and also one of the emerald Lakes
The LOTR trilogy had chosen this location for the Mordor and Frodon and Sam climb this mount at the end of the return of the king.
