Photographer’s Note

We’ve seen that lazy fellow on Cannibal Bay, remote and pretty isolated strip of sandy beach somewhere between Invercargill and Dunedin. This is rather interesting spot on Catlins coast, very south-east part of South Island of New Zealand. This place is paradise for wild life, especially sea lions and fur seals. That particular one is a young sea lion. We expected to see a big colony there, but unfortunately only one was on the beach at the time of our visit. They definitely were here for some time before course we saw a lot of signs of lions on a beach and nearest dunes, but I presume it was a lunch time and all company just went to the ocean to get some food.
