G'Day Tony,

Wonderful lighting, but most beautiful is the pattern of the water. Those small waves, all following each other in succession look stunning, almost like a sort of staircase from your vantage. The trees are well placed also, close to the rising sun to strengthen their silhouette form. Perhaps a little more foreground would help, and less sky; but regardless of that the photograph looks magnificent. It looks like you have been enjoying some good weather this summer in Auckland. TFS!

the golden colour in this shot is overwhelming. The sun rising in the frame really emphasizes to me the heat and brightness. Great texture in the waves of the water and marvelous light.

Dear Tony, affectionate greeting.

This picture is precious in terms of composition, but there are two things I do not like and attract my attention:
1.The horizon is a bit twisted
2.The small clouds shown shy at the top, a little distracting. The crop would have been in PS.

For the rest, I still believe that your country is an inexhaustible source of beauty, seduction and strength to remain photographed. The sunsets are spectacular.

A beutiful sunrise and a very good timing to be there just before the sun is could be seen above the clouds(?).I love the colours and the silhouettes of the trees. Your light mangement here is also excellent. The could easily have become too dark. A superb job!

of course, at first the attention is caught by the yellow sky around the rising suna and the nice silhouettes of the pineas but I like also the sea that holds the picture so perfectly in equilibrium.

The peeping sun adds the most wonderful colours to the sky!
The ripples on the water resemble a piece of pleated material! The silhouetted clouds are quietly watching it all!

What a beautiful morning! I love the glow of the sun rising which creates those different colors in the sky. The transition of red-orange to blue is amazing and there is also some pretty refelctions on the water and wet sand. The silhouettes of the trees to the right add to the photo!
