Photographer’s Note
I won a trip to New Zealand after being on a game show, Sale of the Century, in Hollywood, California. This was during the time I'd put the camera away.
The trip forced me to remember to take a camera and I found a few sights that were memorable. To do over again I certainly would have paid more attention to my photography. But, as it was, I fell in love with New Zealand, especially places like this near Auckland.
One fellow said there were more sheep than people in the country. Probably correct. I love this shot for the contrast between the knarly trees and soft green pasture.

There's always something mystical about New Zealand. Even on a sunny day light this, the trees sure looked like those tree characters from LOTR.Even if this photo was taken way over 18 years ago.

A beautiful landscape shot, Anthony. I like the smooth contours of the slopes and of course, the green is excellent. Nicely framed.

very quiet & relaxing shot. I like the contrast between the twisted trees & the green hills.
Well done!
