Photographer’s Note

This is a rather small street in Christchurch, with barely one lane. And that too is used by this tramway giving this the feel of an old railroad station in a way. But, the beautifully coloured arches and the lovely restaurants and shops make this a treat!

Color, exposure and technical quality are good. Perspective and framing is what makes this picture interesting.

Quite relaxing looking street scene. Old houses with stylish architecture. And a beautiful tramcar. Nice light although the right side is on shadow. Strong perspective.

Excellent composition and super exposure for this shot, Kaustubh.
Great perspective and depth, and great inclusion of the flowers in the foreground. Plenty of detail in the shadowy area too. A very nice choice.
