Photographer’s Note
This is a view of an active volcano. Does not seem really dangerous, however the water in the lake is nearly boiling and the steam comes from the hottest part. Yellow comes from sulfur and you could not breathe at the point where I shot this picture should the wind change the direction.
What this volcano could do you can see on my other picture from this place

Good composition and colors. The greenish yellow of the sulphur catches the eye nicely. Looks like a dangerous place to be.

Great shot. I love this kind of nature. It's so dramatic and powerful and it make me realize how small and weak I am against the powers of nature. I have recently been to Iceland for the third time and seen places there very similar to this one.
I like your composition and angle, the colours are great and so is clarity and light.
I hope to go to NZ someday, seemes like a fantastic place.
Great job!

Hello Marek. This shot is unbelieveable, hardly one can imagine that such a shot is taken in earth in not in another planet from a brave robot.very nice capture and stong colors.Maybe you should also use neat image in order to reduse noise which is slighly visible in the blue sky. This is a minor fault which in no way can spoilt this excellent picture.Good job Marek!

An amazing scene - I can't wait to visit NZ. You've achieved great composition, colour and sharpness here, Marek. Bit of noise in the sky but it's not too bad.

An amazing capture! The bright yellow color of that lake definitely catches your attention. Your note is short, but documents your experience there extremely well.

Wow, this is a truly unique scene, Marek - particularly the yellow color of the sulphur gives this one a sort of outworldish look. Very good composition and crisp sharpness, and you made good use of the favorable direction of the wind here - both for your personal well-being, and for getting this fine photo ;-) Well done.

very nice!
You managed to catch the yellow of the water with the right exposure and good composition. I remember taking a picture like this in waiatapu N.Z but the water somehow looked dull in my picture. Well done!

Good shot! love the distinct texture changes in the photo. From the perfect blue sky, to the rocky cliff face, to the almost pure mustardy body of water to the white steam.

I like the great details of the hill and I appreciate a lot how you can capture such a beautiful picture. The green color at the lower left corner and the white smoke matches very well!!
I hope I can shoot one picture like yours!!
