When I passed this paddock there were sheep eating the plants. I don't know the name of these flowers but it must be one of their diet during spring. Unfortunately, when I got closer to take their photo, they got spooked and run away to the middle of the field.
What caught my initial interest of this scene is that the vibrant colors of the flowers really signify that spring has arrived ... although we are still getting some late snowfalls shown in the mountain top. Hope you like it.

Note: I've read some comments about the color of the sky in this photo. Here in NZ this torquise/cyan color is very common on a fine day especially in the high country. It might look pale but this is actually the natural color. The only PP I've done here was stiched 2 frames, slightly adjust the contrast and yellow color, and then sharpen.

Hi Renier, good one, with a brilliant composition givin a large space to the field of yellow flowers and with the Alps on the back.
thanks, ciao

Hi Renier,
we here in Europe are getting deeper and deeper in autumn and you show us spring captures of brightness and full of colours. I like this warm and lovely one, the snow on the peak at the moment very pleasant as I plan my skiing this winter at the moment.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hi Renier
superbe cliché de cette montagne avec ces belles fleurs en avant plan dans un beau ciel bleu, bravo.

very nice colorful field and beautiful background,
well done,

Hi Renier
Great colours and view...
Nice POv here...
Excellent work...

When we see now plenty of pictures about the northern autumn, it is very refreshing to also see a spring picture from our south part of the world. The scenery is excellent and the mountain still covered in a bit of snow is really very good. The nice POV and colours make this photo very interesting. Well done.
Antonio

Hi Renier.

The colours in the picture are great...amazing. Nice compo with the plans, the mountains and the sky.

Hi Renier

It seems strange to me that in the Northern Hemisphere it's now getting colder, whereas in the southern hemisphere it's Spring (which peaks in May in Korea). A wonderful colour combination of yellow & blue with superb sharpness & compo. Tfs!

Hi Renier, I love it, a superb composed image, spring in the front and winter in the back, it works very impressive.
The photo has also a very nice lightness.
Cheers
Evan

Hi Renier,

Now is spring in the south hemisphere, the season of flowers. Nice composition with the ice at the top of mountains in the foreground. Great colors, very good sharpness.

Well done
Leonor

Hello Renier,
A lovely compsoition very evocative of spring with the wild flowers in bloom and that special sort of light. I like the low point of view and the sharp contrast between flowers and craggy mountain peak. Superb colours and definition.

Hi renier. Splendid scene, makes one want to run through this soft and perfumed world of flowers. The mountain in the distance accentuates the purity of the place. Nice PoV. Regards. Klaudio.

Beautiful composition and depht of field renier , compliments.
Stefano.

Not too sure about the sky with this one Renier. Looks like its over pp too me, but the contrast between the flowers and the mountain is very nice. The detail of both is very impressive.

Hi Renier,
A nice low POV, from inside the flower field... Good sky/land ratio and nice soft colors of this magnificent landscape... the clouds got a bit overexposed, maybe during post processing, if it was originally a bit dark?

Hej Reiner!
have to say that I'm jealous.
to have the summer just in front of you instead of behind you. even if wintertime has it's peaks.
Good bloomy picture, a bit of a family Von Trapp in this image with the snowcoverd alp in background.
Cheers /Anders

Hello Renier. Your photo of spring reaches my soul. Because the winter approaches here. I enjoy therefore about this beautiful landscape with flowers in the foreground and snow-covered save in the background. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Renier,
Beautiful color balance, with great and eyecatcher yellow in the FG.
Nice one,
Regards,
JB.

Good evening Renier,
yellow of the flowers constraste very well with the remote mountain. The clear yellow is underlined by the band dark green. Very good and pleasant realization.
Pass a good evening.
Cordially.
Joel

hello Renier
beautiful composition with that field and the nice BG mountain, good depth
nice spring photo, TFS

Hi Ren,
I keep forgetting that spring in the northern hemisphere is equivalent to autumn in the the southern half of our globe. This is very pretty. Yellow flowers always make a good color combination with anything. Tech details are good. Thanks for the good welcome. Best regards, Danilo

Hello Renier,
I like the composition with 2/3 of the area allocated to the flowers. The mountains seemingly rising right above the flowers is very nice. Only issue is that the snowy peaks are overexposed and the hazy view does not help either. Perhaps a combination of polarizer and graduated neutral density filter would help. Regards,
Hakan

Very nice flowers field with beautiful mountain view as bg. Great job Renier i like alot this perspective. Thanks :-)

Hi Renier,
A well composed image with 1/3 for the sky and 2/3 for the rest. Nice soft colors and good detail sharpness. A slight burn on some clouds but not too strong...

Great low POV putting lots of emphasis on the yellow flowers in the foreground. beautiful mountain in the back.

Hello Renier,
This is a pleasant colour palette, telling how nature is changing to summer mode!
Interesting to see the late snowfall, we had one too during Easter this year...
A well composed presentation, and better luck with the sheep next time (here they come to me to be photographed, hehehe!..!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Graduated grey filter would work extremely well here as would a polariser as the sky is washed out. That is the only fault and without a filter a very difficult job to get the light right. A problem I have had and to be truthful I might add I have yet to invest in a filter as they are not cheap. Great composition and thought though prehaps slightly more of the woodland would be good which might be achieved by raising the camera slightly to give a definate three banded effect.
Hope thats useful.

Simon

I like this combination of colours. The foreground is very dominant here because of the area it takes and colours. Good perspective and sharpness. The mountains add a nice touch to the back. Thanks :-)

Hello Renier
With your low POV, you have given just prominence to the yellow flowers. Wonderful colour combination of yellow & blue. The layers have been beautifully brought out. Is there snow in the mountains, which we see in the BG, all year round? I'm asking because they don't seem to be very high. Very nice picture.
