Photographer’s Note
Cathedral Square, is a major landmark in this beautiful, small city. Here, part of the square has been converted into a larger than life chess-board, where the players usually play standing. Moving pieces on this board involves some exercise, unlike the original, sit-down version of the game. If you find this a little tiring, you can always use one of the larger pieces as a seat!
I liked this concept very much, and it definitely needed to be photographed!
The 19th century cathedral stands in the background.
