Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken from the middle of Bottle Lake Forest, Christchurch, New Zealand as the sun was setting, I was standing in a forest of mature pine trees looking out into a new plantation of small pines.

Before anything welcome to the trekearth community and I wish you long and happy postings for a long time to come, Well done on this photo, I like the dark contrasts and the weak light fading in the horizon maybe if you had removed the noise from the sky it would have been even better but well done all the same

Hi Anna,
Welcome to TE. Its nice that you chose to leave in the edge of this pine tree to give the photo balance, and perspective. You could crop out some of the black at the bottom to make it a panel shot. I don't think it adds much to the composition.
