The Sky Tower is an observation and radio tower located on the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets in the central business district of Auckland, New Zealand. It is 328 metres tall, as measured from ground level to the top of the mast, making it the tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere, and the 13th tallest member of the World Federation of Great Towers.
The landmark is part of the SKYCITY Auckland casino complex, owned and operated by SKYCITY Entertainment Group. |

Hello,
Awesome shot of this huge structure. The rain streaks are a new feature, I have not seen this effect before. The tower seems to change colour each time I visit Auckland, I have seen it red and green at Christmas and yellow and blue in spring. I like how the glow washes the sky around it. Good work on the frame also.
