Arrowtown's origins began as a gold mining settlement. Gold left this area long ago, but now it has been replaced by beautiful deciduous trees which turn golden in Autumn.

I like these kinds of shots where the rocks under the water are visible, while at the same time you have a reflection off the surface. Wonderful colour combination with the gold and blue, and the scene is very idyllic. Well done!

Good shot! I like the lovely colours and their reflections in the water, I like the low sunlight casting long shadows and I like the low pov.

Great shadows here, and the clear water is very impressive. I also like the colors, and all the leafs on the ground of the river. Simple setup by central european standards, but wonderfuly captured.

Perfect balance of colors, light, exposure and composition, Adam. The diagonal incoming shadows give a good depth to the image and enhances a lot the effect of reflections and ability to look into the bottom of the water. That little trick allows the use of polarizing filter to enhance the colors and not to loose the noce pattern of the stones and leaves in the bottom. Great!

Hi Adam. Colours to drool over here yet they still retain the natural look. The only place that doesn't seem quite right is the blue on the nearby rock. Excellent composition and fine detail.

Hi Adam! This is realy great, not your usual kind of shot, but very beautiful anyway. I like the way you managed to avoid an uninteresting sky with those branches, if you do not have clouds why not some trees? :)
Congratulations and keep posting.

Adam, great capture here, the clear water and the reflection control is perfect. Colors are alive and the detail is crisp across the whole frame, great work.
