Autumn Pond Reflections Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is my other POV on autumn .... bleak and lots of rubbish generated by the falling leaves. I have a mature oak and maple tree in my yard and it is a burden cleaning up the leaves this time of the year. But I still like autumn most of all the seasons mainly because of the wonderful colors it brings.
I took this shot from one of the ponds in the park. The over exposure effect was because I was facing a mid morning sun and it was reflecting in the water.

It is a nice and very different autumn picture. I can only imagine Christchurch in this time of the year. It must be very beautiful. Well done.

Salam,
Very beautiful autumn shot with lovely colors of it.I think if you had cropped the upper part a bit- in a way the reflection could be seen only -,You would have been added to its beauty .

Hi Renier. Well taken. The leaves in the foreground are better than in the b/g -- may be due to overexposure as you had said. Otherwise would come much better. Regards.

But I think is oversaturated...It could be better with more naturel colors, IMO.

A marvelous composition with these leaves on the ponds and this perfect reflect of beautiful tree. Inly one remark,at the begining I was wondering if it was noit a little bit over exposed,but finally it is perhaps coming from colours a little bit too much over saturated.
What do you think about.

Hi Renier,

great shot. The reflection on the lake was great showing the tree withou leafs from another angle. It seems the leafts on the lake are from the tree, a underwater tree.
Pretty colors too.

Quite a unique shot. The reflection of the tree in the water with the leaves flowing in strategic places makes it look like this tree is growing under water. The only flaw I find is it's a tad bright where the light hits the surface of the water.

Very vivid Autumn colors. I really like the way you present the reflection accompanied with the leaves in the water. Maybe a little oversaturated, but who cares. Consider using a polarizer. It will enhance your reflections.
