Hi Christian, I think this is a unique NZ picture. The foreground flowers are great. DOF is pretty good also. The lighting conditions look like they were a little unforgiving, therefore I'd adjust the gamma settings to change that slight washed out look.

Great work though.

Welcome to TE! This is a really nice composition. The sky is a little overexposed, so I did a workshop by tracing an edge around the sky and adding contrast and backlighting to the sky. I also added some color saturation to the picture as a whole. Hope you like it.

a beautiful composition you take there,i like the contrast with the flowers and the desolation of the mountains also thecolours from the dark blue(flowers) to the light purple(mountains)

Hi Christian, beautiful shot. Such a lovely composition, the scenery is stunning on it's own, but the flowers in the foreground really add an extra element.

The simplicity of this shot is staggering. I love the flowers in the foreground. It gives a huge impact to the contrasting empty hills in the bg. Colin's WS addressed some important elements of this photography.
