Natural Colours Palette Photo

Photographer’s Note

Rotorua, ... one of the incredible place on the Earth, where humans seems so weak in comparison with the strength of the nature.

Here is the famous Champagne pool, ... where water is near ninety degrees centigrade and the different colours a due to different type of minerals that react with the rocks.

It's better to see it near noon, when morning peoples are gone to eat and afternoon people not already there. What is more, as the pool is very hot, soon in the morning there is a big temperature difference with air and then there is a lot of fog, ... in the afternoon when the air is hotter there is less fog and then a better view !

Hey Marc!
Very good composition you got here, the grey shore extends and curves into the depth of the picture, the fumes rising into the air adds drama and the unusual colors are intrigue! The contrast is very good, if between the skies and the land - very very nice!

très interessant cette photo...en palette de 3 vagues differentes...les couleurs sont tres bien rendues,la brume qui se dégage donne une athmosphère spéciale, le jeu de nuage donne la perspective dans la composition, bien vu pour l'ensemble, merci, amicalement Bi

Amazing colours, rendered very faithfully here. It looks like an amazing place; I've seen pictures of it before and must try to visit it one day. Your point-of-view is a good one here, creating a sort of s-shaped figure in the composition that is very pleasing to the eye. Well done and thanks for sharing it.
