Summer it may have been, but with the wind whipping in from the sea it felt like I was back in England. A few clicks down the road from Hokitika (where exactly I'm unsure - I have a habit of wandering off) the local environment had reshaped itself, and a few of the trees now resembled bizarre creatures from contemporary science fiction.
I've also just noticed the file name is incorrect - Wanaka is another story... ;-) |
