Photographer’s Note

The twin peaks of Mt Earnslaw (2819 m) seen across Lake Wakatipu from Greenstone Station. A late afternoon shot with a calm lake and a cloudless sky. Greenstone Station is easily reached by car from Glenorchy, which is on the opposite side of the lake.

Scanned from a slide. Polariser used. Telephoto at 108 mm. I used Photoshop to adjust the levels to get the best contrast, and to adjust the colour balance.

Another beauty. I quite like Jurij's workshop of your image but think the horizon is best placed off the middle of the frame, as you have here. Perhaps with the silhouetted rocks in the bottom left cropped off?

As usual, a terrific shot technically as well as artistically. Well done.
