the final descent of the Tongariro Crossing truly provides you with the most amazing vista one could wish for. Looking all the way back to Lake Taupo in the distance. I think the view itself was worth the picture, the people on the track add some interest too. The very hard light caused the clouds to be burnt a little, but not too disturbing in my opinion.

Hello Arnoud,
another great panoramic shot of this fabulous landscape. The pov is fantastic and is without doubt worth of climbing. Dof and focus are perfect and there is a nice mixture of warm and cool colours. Great one!
Tfs and best wishes.
Attila

>Hi Arnoud
What a fabulous place with such colors. The mountain, the sea in the backgroud and a magic sky make this shot really amazing.
Cheers

Great panorama, with spectacular views. I like the way the scene unfolds below us, transitioning from the detailed foreground to the distant mountains in a smooth way. Great sense of depth. Beautiful!

Oh yes! A super image Arnoud from up so high. Excellent compositionand colours. And I like seeing the people in the distance. Well shown, TFS

Hallo Arnoud,
Groet, Henk

Hi Arnoud!
Indeed a majestic hike and a majestic photo! Beautiful inmense POV, nice DOF,and beautiful colours. The lonely presence of a man is surely a "plus" to the photo. Congratulations!
Best regards,
Hercules

Hi Arnoud
The view is absolutely splendid and I especially like the colours of the grass. It's so unusual. THe walkers do add an extra dimension and were worth including. Pity about the clouds. When I have that problem, I try underexposing. Others have suggested a grey filter.
Regards
Nikki

Hi Arnoud - the clouds are OK, the view is truly breathtaking and well worth the climb, wow, I've never seen Taupo from such a height, even in published media.

Amazing place and great picture!
Well done! I wouldn't say that the clouds are overexposed, adn the depth of filed is very good. Wonderful place to visit!
Keep it up!
Regards,

Jarek.
