Brittomart train station Auckland.
Not many people, not many trains. But escorted off by security for using a tripod anyway.....The colours and lights down here are amazing.

Hello Karen
Beautiful colours. I like the capture with a long perspective and the girl looking for a train.
Regards

Nice shot, you have done a good job of capturing this expensive yet lifeless trainstation well.

I was questioned for about 5 minutes when I brought in my tripod and camera to this same place, and the guy ended up letting me take shots, but followed me everywhere I went.

Great capture Doris...

How sad that you were escorted off for this...a little harsh. They could at least stand and observe whilst you took the pictures!

I had a similar experience yesterday, taking pictures at a local shopping center...I was asked to stop. I was told that I would need to write a letter to obtain permission from the manager of the center?!?! infuriating!

So, I congratulate you on this result...

Hi,Karen!Very nice picture!Mix of strong and popart colours!Well composition! Regards, Yuri.

Hi Karen,
Great composition and colours.
I find it worrying that there's less and less tolerance for anything even slightly offbeat, but I thought New Zealand was one of the few places in the Western world that was different. Very sad, but a good photo!
Cheers
Brian

Hi Karen,
Never mind the security guards as long as you bring back images like this. Its simply a stunner. Great colours, great mood. I am suitably impressed.

Hi Karen,
Beautiful colorful photo of this underground train station. I like the compo and the perspective with the reflecting metal columns on the right and the colorful wall with the commercials on the left. The lone person looking for the next train is positioned very natural place there. Well done.

Hi Karen,
What a great photo! The composition is excellent and a good point of view, and the colors (and the reflections of the colors on the silver metal) are fantastic. Very cool for a train station. Well done!
Regards, Jackie
