Stairs to heaven or hell Photo

Photographer’s Note

While driving home late at night I noticed how these stairs really stood out with their lights on. I liked the reflection in the puddle. It looked as though the stairs went to both heaven and hell. I'm not sure which way to go though as the people on Monday morning going to work surely wouldn't think they were going to heaven ;)

I had to rest my hand on the top of my car to get the shot as I wasn't carrying a tripod.

PP paintshop. Straighten, crop resize. nothing else.

Wow, the echoing puts smile on my face. I wonder how this would look if you only crop closely with only the stairs (both real and reflected) appearing.

Great eye to find this POV with the reflectoin in the puddle and to cathch that interesting pattern in the stairs.

Very nice and original composition, Sue. The light management is superb. I also like how the light of the stairs reflects in the puddle. Very well done!

Hi Sue, You'd bluffed me completed with this reflection if you hadn't told about the puddle. I mistook it for a basement too. The geometry of the image is really great.

Hello Sue, it gives me great happiness to see an image of the city
(Palmerston North) that is in the most distant point of my city
(St Martin of Valdeiglesias) .... the distance of 20.000 Km
separates us and it is the exact point " antipodes " one of other.
To the margin of this I like your photo ...
the reflexes of the night and I hope that you should keep on
