I had the feeling I was walking on a huge, gigantic chocolate cake all the time, when walking/stumbling/climbing the Tongariro Crossing.
Too bad.. all rocks and snow, instead of cake and whipped cream.

Despite the desillusion, it was amazingly beautiful!
