Photographer’s Note
These feral goats live at the incredibly beautiful Deer Park Heights overlooking Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown, New Zealand. This was a site for several Lord of the Rings film locations.
Most of these goats originated in the Skippers Canyon area that were brought to the region by gold miners as a source of milk and meat.
These gregarious animals were quick to leave their perches, soon after taking this photo, to come down to visit and beg for pellets!

I like colors and composition showing the perspective. But the foreground is either slightly oversharpened or to much blicks are left in spite of the polarising filter. I used to overdose USM during my novice time with PS and I know it needs some experience and time to masterize it.

Lovely capture Jennifer. The scenery in NZ is so photogenic and you were lucky to spot this lot perched in just the right places. Excellent!
